Pippi Longsqueaking is hongray

Dorothy is a pipper and a squeaker and not much of a full meower. She luuuuurves to tell me that she is hungry by pipping, squeaking, licking my toes (or my ankles), and weaving in and out of my legs.

  1. OMG that was so cute! Oliver going around in a circle and Dorothy's high pitched squeeks. Plus Teen Baby and Luanne are just sitting there with a look that says "we're waiting for you to get your act together."

How are the older cats adjusting to Dorothy now that she's getting bigger.

Also - what type of breed is Teen Baby - I have never seen a coat as unique as that before.

  2. Poor Oliver is a bit senile (17) and walks in circles a lot, so that's not a food-related thing. He doesn't really like Dorothy, but at his age he doesn't really like anything except sleep and food. :-\

Luanne still hisses at Dorothy and bats her away to show her who is in charge, but she's getting used to her and doesn't have any hard feelings toward me (which is what I was worried about).

D starts fights with Teen Baby (kind of how I assume she did with Jake at Robyn's) and that is a hoot to watch. I need to get that on camera. Teen Baby is so big he just rolls around and fends Dorothy off with an open mouth and paws, and Dorothy literally leaps and lands and leaps and lands. It's hilarious.

Teen Baby is just a regular old domestic shorthair. He's got the best markings. He has three perfect buttons going down his white chest, too. Right in a row, small, big, bigger. He's 10; I've had him since he was 9 weeks old.

  3. Poor Oliver, with a new interloper disrupting his golden years. We have a 21 year old orange tabby, and he was 14 when we got our other cat Bailey and Autumn has been very tolerant (but certainly not loving) of Bailey.

Glad the adjustment is going pretty smoothly.

  4. She is squeaking for her supper indeed :) My cats also lick my feet and legs and anything they can reach to get my attention when the food isn't coming fast enough. :)

  5. Too cute. My Zelda is a squeaker too. She really only 'talks' when it's treat time (we call it night-night snack around here), or sometimes when I squeeze too hard (oops!)

Great video. It's so great to watch Dorothy grow up :)
